Meet the Team

WVC is a mixed animal veterinary center that cares for large and small animals. Dr. Rex Rammell, along with his wife Lynda, their daughter Jessica, and son in law Ben Oliver are owners and operators.

Wyoming Veterinary Center is a sixteen-acre ranch with a residence, small animal hospital, equine hospital, pet resort, and ten stall horse barn along with numerous paddocks. The Rammell’s and Olivers not only provide animal services but also enjoy raising performance horses, bird dogs, and rodeo bulls.

Dr Rex Rammell

Dr. Rammell is a 1989 graduate of Kansas State University. Born and raised near Jackson, Wyoming. He has seen and treated just about every health condition in the Rocky Mountain Region. Dr Rammell is an accomplished surgeon, who specializes in Equine and Canine orthopedics . He is an avid outdoorsman, who enjoys riding his horses in the Wind River Mountain Range. He enjoys raising performance horses and bucking bulls. Dr Rammell comes from a long legacy of cowboys.

Lynda Rammell

Lynda and Rex have been married since 1983 and have three beautiful daughters and one handsome son. Lynda was born and raised near Jackson, Wyoming on a beef and dairy farm. The real boss of the operation, Lynda makes sure the class and quality of the Veterinary Clinic perform at its peak. She makes it a point that all the dogs in our pet resort get equal play time while keeping the rest of the WVC team scheduled and busy. She enjoys teaching, music, and loving on her grandchildren.

Ben Oliver

Ben married into the family in 2017 and became a father in 2019. He grew up in Billings, Montana. He is an avid outdoorsman and horseman. He is the Ranch Manager and Senior Veterinary Technician. He breaks all the horses and is a certified farrier. Ben is the man behind the scenes that keeps everything running smoothly.

Jessica Oliver

Jessica is the youngest daughter of Rex and Lynda. She married Ben Oliver in 2017 and had their son Liam In 2019. Jessica is the cat lady of the family. Before Liam was born, Jessica has been mother and provider to numerous felines. She shares the reception desk duties with her Mom as well as the veterinary technician responsibilities. She loves cats, people (in that order), and music; as she is an accomplished violinist. She was elected student of the year at Eastern Wyoming College.
